Illinois Organizations

 

Primary site for medical people, however encouraging ALL to register (non medical also).  

You will submit your board certifications, DEA, etc. This IS the major group they will be tapping into - make sure your profile is 100% complete, they won't contact you until it is. You can sign up for specific groups through here (ie: State Covid 19 Mass Vaccination, State Covid 19 Responders, Medical Reserves Corp, etc )

This is a national and local volunteer "match" program, for anyone (individuals, families). They have COVID 19 volunteer opportunities, including an area where they will get information for "mass vaccine" help. (also good just for families to do - we tapped into this source a lot as a family this past year).  Also any volunteer opportunity can be found here. Volunteer Match Website.

 
 

This organization is to volunteer for medical events. And will be aiding in the vaccine response.  Look up the specific Unit that is for your area. Medical Reserves Corps Website.

 

Cook County Information

 

We have been informed that they are almost complete with their onboarding materials for volunteers. They will be contacting us as soon as they know when they can use volunteers to give information out to everyone. They think it will be next week. 

Stay tuned!  They will need a lot of people when the time comes!

Vaccine Mass Clinic Running! NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS at DuPage County Fairgrounds. Once you fill out the Recruitment Link (will need to close out the vaccine signup box first), they will review your information and contact you.

 

Grundy County

As part of the basic IMERT team member requirement, all team members must complete the following:

  1. Basic Incident Command courses (IS-100 & IS-200)

  2. National Incident Management System course (IS-700)

  3. A Weapons of Mass Destruction course

  4. Online Introduction to IMERT Policy and Procedure Course, available to team members only

  5. Attend the one day Deployment Operations Course training (available springs and summers).  Attendance at this course is required annually.
